Forever Grounded | Acrylic

Do you ever notice how the same type of trees never seem to really grow in the same way? Pretty much everywhere I go, as soon as I step out my front door, is surrounded by trees so I constantly find myself observing them. The ones that are in the shade seem to always grow their branches out so that the leaves capture some sunlight, others have trunks that bend and morph into different shapes. If you think about it, if all trees had to grow in the same direction and form, trees wouldn’t survive. Because of the environment they live in, they need to be adaptable in order to thrive.
